Lining up a Jump Shot

Only 13 of us braved the cold wind at Croquet today.  In the game of Golf Croquet, if an opposition ball (black) is sitting in the hoop, then you are allowed to do a jump shot which means that your yellow ball jumps over the black ball, therefore you get a point for getting the hoop.  This lady finds them quite easy to do, I saw her jump three balls today!  I had one attempt and missed.

Most of the snow on the mountain has melted already.  It is still windy, which is unpleasant when you are out walking.  If it is windy in town, then it will be very windy on the ski fields.
