Signs of Spring-2

At last the weather relented enough yesterday to enable a start in preparing the garden for the new year. It was a tonic to be able to get stuck into some work after weeks of semi- neglect.

On clearing the undergrowth I found a surprising amount of plant activity including these bulbs pushing their way out into the light.

With low clouds and poor light levels yet again I had to ramp up the ISO to get a decent shutter speed and depth of field, something which would have been unthinkable not so long ago.
