Riding our Iron Horses

One more Indian Summer's day with temps of 30°C, that's unprecedented in September here in the Netherlands (in the South of our country it even got 35°C today). 

I took my bicycle out and went for a ride on my "Iron Horse"... that's how we Dutch call our bicycle; and today was like all had gone on their Iron Horses! I suppose that all who had to work, had taken a holiday as to enjoy the nice weather once more; altho' I must note that many of the cyclists were my peers; that is pensioners... we're a large number!
 
From centre Den Haag one can cycle or walk thro' a long stretch of green parks and lanes onto the dunes and beach of Wassenaar and Katwijk and further on. I returned from Katwijk and this was my view in the "Woods of Den Haag"
