The hay bales of Longshaw Common..

On our way to do shopping, Mr Bee and I pass the through the delightfully named Longshaw Common, or as locals call it Longshaw bottom!
It’s a pretty hamlet of stone cottages tucked out of the way at the northern foot of Billinge Hill.
The farmer who owns the hay bales also grows carrots to supply the HJ Heinz factory which is just a few miles away.
