Apples

The original apples we grew on the farm came from Seedsavers in  Ireland, maybe 10 years ago when we were told that apples don't grow in Malawi  (by the experts) but now we grow three varieties found in Malawi.
At first we reproduced these by buying and dividing rootstock, but more recently from cuttings.
Here we have very early apples, (as shown) this year but they will take many more weeks to mature.

Not sure of the final number but I feel that the farm will produce about 500 apple tree seedlings this year.
