Peewit Island

Minimalism and I aren't natural bedfellows. I'm one of those photographers who want to make every pixel count. I do like minimalist pictures though.

It's Wide Wednesday (hosted today by Freyjad - thank you, Sheelagh) and the theme is minimalism so it's good to have encouragement to do it. I decided I'd take a walk down to the river as I thought there'd be a variety of different options there and that was the case. The little oak tree made a good subject and with a bit of fartknarkling my blip is the result. I've also added an extra of some flotsam and a seagull (on the left, upside down) with a mono treatment.
