Ardalandish Beach
A late afternoon otter recce to the beach close to the Ardalandish Weavers. Zero otters compensated by a brisk walk along the dunes and views across to Jura, Colonsay and most probably Islay in the background.
The extra blip is the iconic telephone box on the roadside just before Carsaig which featured in “I know where I’m going “ 1945. There is no phone signal here and it is in working order apparently well used by hikers and movie buffs. It has Historic Scotland status and is regularly painted.
