Arizona Heat

The serious heat has passed for the season but I thought I would sketch my interpretation of what it was like in Arizona from April through early September in 2020.
You might not be familiar with Yuma, the city I drew closest to the sun. But if you think Phoenix has the hottest average temperature, you’ve never been to Yuma. I’m a terrible artist but I hope you get the drift. One thing I learned is that drawing with a mechanical pencil doesn’t make a decent photograph.
