Swan song for a cynic
I have been mocking swan blips for years.
And there was I, this morning, literally pulled in by the magnetic beauty of the majestic white bird softly gliding on the surface of the River Liffey.
I had to photograph it. I almost regretted the fact that Mr Swan did not have a companion to interlock necks with, in a heart shape. With the Custom House reflected in the swany heart shape.
Almost.
I read somewhere that in the Middle Ages they were the food of choice of kings.
I'll wait until I've had a swan kebab before deciding if I've made a complete U turn in my opinion of the white floaty birdie.
