Thank you for coming to feed us!!!!

Miserable day with flakes of wet snow falling!! My sister is on her "Grandma" day, and we took the two grand children out this morning to try to feed the ducks!!

Unfortunately the ground is so wet underfoot and the floods have meant that their usual river banks are underwater, so they are not getting their usual number of visitors!!! We started to break up the bread on the grass and the pigeons arrived, swiftly followed by these two ducks. We were unable to get to the geese out on a bank in the river but news spread and more ducks arrived for a feast!!

The threatened heavy snowfall hasn't materialised so hopefully I will have an easier drive home tomorrow!!
