Maya, in a haze.
First day off this season + it's been scrupulously yet accidentally positioned a day after our great pals arrived; ok then. Shame the inhospitable north winds had hit every single area, slamming virals of 100k hurricanes at the top, so most fun was shut - but not for a second did our amusement waver. What was essentially the imperative thing to remember - I was sliding with my bestests, and that was all that mattered.
We slammed in a load of supplies + made our way to our empty chalet; the perfect timing continues. We even had permission from my boss to wine + dine there, and did that, we right did.
I was in charge of the bar, but noone liked my ludicrous cocktail of cheap vodka + some non descript red upper drink. Then there were two chefs, Sooz + J Man slabbering their many talents around the large open plan professional kitchen. Bowls of delicious looking ingredients would be turned into impossible combinations of outstanding cuisine. Then there were the two fellas in green; Si Si + Dan doing all round general legendary acts to help develop the feast of a lifetime. Curls went between slicing + dicing healthy looking salad acts + rolling around with me performing post avant garde quaking shaking dance moves on a dead cow mat, great music filling the luxurious space.
As the dead of the night began to unfold, we haphazardly and chaotically split our great times between more euphoric plungings in the steaming hot tub beneath the cold shining starry night and rubbing on down each other's aching limbs with massage oil that smelt really nice. There were some games thrown in there at some point, as were some home made white chocolate lethal vodka shots + plenty of gallivanting around, pretending if only for one night, that we'd all hit it big time and this was just our way of life.
