Red Kites and Typhoons

WEDNESDAY

Another warm and sunny morning.

After Harriet had completed an on-line session in relation to her clinical placement, we all checked out of The Granary and headed over to Woodhall Spa where we had nice outdoor lunch  at The Tea House in the Woods. It was t-shirt and sunglasses weather.

After lunch Harriet and George headed back to Nottingham and we headed home. The weather soon changed to being grey and dull although it it due to improve again later in the week.

We spotted a group of large birds shortly after leaving the cottage - there is at least one Red Kite. At the same time three RAF Typhoons came flying past - although the one in the picture was taken later over Woodhall Spa.
