It's raining rainbows

Another rainbow project coming along nicely: classical granny squares.  When I had finished a pile of them, I thought they were starting to look like a baby girl's blanket, so I added a last row of silver grey to make it look more 'grown up'!  I've already done a third of the number of squares needed.
Each square consists of 8 rows and each square gives 16 loose ends to weave in with a darning needle!  So I sew in the loose ends every two rows to keep them under control!
