Brand New Dragonfly

This beautiful dragonfly lurched out of the shadows as we were walking along and clung to these tiny flowers. I could see it was brand new, the wings were intact and lovely and clear and his body was unmarked and gorgeous!

I did have an Abstract Thursday shot, but I’ve had to relegate that to the extras!  Its Shades of Spring featuring all the spring grasses that are around :o)
