Shades of purple!

As we were walking under the trees I suddenly spotted this!  Not what I had thought of doing but ....   I’ve added a bit of colour!    Many thanks to Inge for hosting Abstract Thursday! Xxx

Just couldn’t get to sleep last night so I had a good look at the Firefox app.  It seems good but I only have the free version.  The pro version comes with a price tag!  I also made a birthday card from an old photo.

This morning I woke up extra early so decided I would do some baking: an apple flan and some cooked apple that’s gone into the freezer.
Mass online and then brought breakfast in bed for the pair of us.

Played a bit with the iPad and listened to the news.  Since I made carrot soup and had some for lunch and gave apples and flan to B.  Bedding is out drying in the sun!

We had a walk and sat in the sun on a bench.  It’s such a beautiful day!  Home and a cup of tea/coffee.  I still want to make sorrel soup and do a bit of gardening.  Ro is supposed to be doing some shredding and making us a ham salad for dinner.  I might manage some apple crumble!  We have a lot of apples!!

I left some apples out on the pavement with a sign for people to help themselves but no one took any!

Last night I watched: The Making of a Maestro.  A very interesting program about an extremely musical family.

“A musical portrait of the seven siblings of the Kanneh-Mason family, one of whom (Sheku) made an impression two years after this film was made, by performing on the cello at a British royal marriage.”

Sheku performed in the penultimate Prom this year with his sister, who plays the piano.  I might try and watch that tonight!
