We caught this Spitfire over the local hospital early afternoon. A little later we went to pick up JJ from school and AB came along too, see today’s extra.
The image above, however, was taken just after the aircraft, G-PRXI, took off from our little local airfield, did a wide swing round and back over the runway, culminating in a beautiful loop off the top before heading for Ireland. Oh, and the sound of that Rolls Royce Merlin aero engine was absolute magic!
