Sneaky

Merlin has been unwell this afternoon.  We tried him back on the tablets he had previously taken to help with his skin allergy.  After we thought they had made him sick, we spoke with the vet and it was suggested we try him on a much lower dose and see how he coped with it.  Unfortunately its made him very sick so he has been resting and looking very sorry for himself. 

Just before dinner he felt well enough to sneak up on to the chair - no doubt hoping we would take pity on him and let him stay there - which we did!  Hopefully he will feel much better very soon.    We think his itchy skin is caused by a pollen allergy.  I've ordered some natural herbal remedies which are supposed to help so we will see how he gets on with those.  I think we'll also start washing him down after his walks to try to wash off the pollen as much we are able to do so.  Hope you've had a good day.
