Snail trail

Snails here are a real problem. Some mornings you can find twenty or more lurking in or around flower pots, with sinister plant eating intent. Every morning twenty or more snails van take an airborne holiday, as far into the next door field as we could hurl them.

Slugs, on the other hand, get lifted carefully and placed on the wall for the birds to pick off. [Representations from the Slug Liberation Front will be roundly repudiated.]

And then a friend recommended copper tape. Stuck round every pot, as you see in the blip, it throws snaily-sluggery into disarray. Daily trails reveal them wandering in aimless confusion. But in dwindling numbers. Taking fewer airborne holidays.  And never touching the plants.
