Outside or inside?

Both in fact, but not as much outside as I would have liked. Really I need a lot more hours in my Thursdays than other days. It's my day for getting the shopping and all the housework done. There still never seems to be enough time to do anything fun. But at least I have got some one off jobs done. Cleaning the fireplace out for one, and dusting the lounge for another ( - I dust quite regularly- at least twice a year :-))

How it took me the best part of a day, I don't know. I did manage a coffee break at 12, after I had shopped and put everything away and washed up. I sat in the french quarter with a nice view of the garden, my coffee, the local paper and a nice maple and pecan plait.

I did also get up to the allotment to feed the hens and water a few bits. The afternoon flew while I vacuumed the lounge and properly cleaned and tidied the fireplace and lounge. I am pleased with what I have managed to do, but not much has been crossed off my list!

After dinner I sewed the first bunting flags on to the tape. Not bad for our first go. I want to make matching cushion covers but am having to use my fabric sparingly, so it means being creative. More tomorrow night as it's too dark now. Our sewing has taken a back seat this week, but I think will pick up again next week.
