Walks in the Snow

First day of half term and we woke to a covering of snow. After the success of yesterdays pancakes Ky mixed up another batch of batter and treated us to pancakes for breakfast - I'm not sure that Josh's preferred filling of marshmallows and chocolate sauce ticking the boxes of a nutritional breakfast but it's a holiday! We had a really good run about the park, Coco had great fun frolicking in the snow with the other dogs and despite being rolled over a few times came home beautifully clean. There are some benefits to snow. As the snow didn't look as though it was going to stop we went to Tesco on our return from the walk to stock up on essential items and a few treats just in case the weather got worse. Of course it's now turned to rain but I'm sure we'll do our best to work our way through the treats while completing in this afternoons Frustration championships - don't say I don't know how to show the children a good time while on holiday, a trip to the supermarket AND a game of Frustration. Tomorrow we are heading over to Fife to visit my sister so looking for better weather to enjoy a long walk on the beach!
