The Pump Room...

..... Pittville Park, and which is no longer a pump room but an events centre with some very grand architecture and beautifully ornate ceilings. There is some history which I shall return to but it’s late and I’m very full after a delicious dinner...

We stayed local in Cheltenham this morning revisiting The Promenade and then walked to the park. The latter made for perfect people watching; different groups of people all enjoying the amazing September sunshine.

We returned to Bourton-on-the-Water to visit the motor museum. The village was very busy today and sadly not very appealing and we didn’t stay for the full parking time we’d paid for.

Dinner in The Mount Inn in Stanton again this evening. At 8pm we were the last booking. We had asked for a table in the gazebo as on Tuesday but changed to inside pretty quickly as it’s definitely cooler tonight.

We’ve added an extra night to our time here. The room we’ve had was booked for tonight and we have been given for the extra night, surely the best room in the hotel. I’m luxuriating...!
