Beautiful Swan sculpture in Ballycastle... representing the four children of Lir being turned into swans by their stepmother and exiled to spend 900 years roaming Ireland. Lovely Irish myth. The story resounds with jealously.. Lir's children were turned into swans by their stepmother who was jealous of Lir's love for them. Sadly the green devil is still amongst us.. Beware!
