Snowdrops in the Snow

A light snowfall today follwed by rain in the afternoon. Just as well I blipped these snowdrops early in the morning. I noticed them drooping in the snow when i came back with the morning papers.

S , being me , I had to go in put the camera on the gorilla pod , set the extra large plastic tablecloth( which I bought for this purpose ) on the ground so I could get down cloe to the snowdrops without getting soaked.Goodness knows what the neighbours must think !

By the time I had uploaded to the compyter and converted the Raw files , it was too late to go out and get another blip of the raindrop with that lovely reflection of the full flower ( snow drop bottom left ). You can just about see the detail in the LARGE version.

Such is life.

had a fun afternoon at the village school. They had a valentine tea with lots of games to try as well as some lovely tray bakes to buy. All the children were very busy and very polite and cheerful, looking forward to their mid -term holiday which starts tomorrow . How time flies, seems no time since the Christmas holidays.
