Rhynie

I’d a fantastic cycle with a chum this morning on a lovely warm day. We rode a circular route from Monymusk on the river Don following it north through a glen called the Lords Throat to the villages of Keig, Auchleven, Leslie, Clatt and then Rhynie for coffee. We came back by Lumsden, Craigievar, and Muir of Fowlis. About 45 miles in total. The roads were quiet and there was little wind so a grand day out. I’ve driven a lot around here over the years but you see more on a bike as generally you are on less busy roads so most of this route was new to me.
