Hope beyond restrictions....

This sunflower grew up through the bars of a plant support.
It was hidden all summer amongst other foliage.
As I’ve been clearing the borders, cutting back the lavender and dead heading the achilleas, I noticed it the other day. It isn’t very tall but had been very determined.
I trod carefully across between the shrub roses, perennial wallflowers and osteospurmum to bend down and take the photo earlier.
It is now 7.50am.
A nippy breeze outside, pushing the morning clouds across the sky.
