He stopped in our carriage to say he needed money for a bed in a hostel or backpackers’ for the night. She didn’t have any cash. When he returned, she offered to transfer $10 into his bank account. He gave her his BSB and account number. After he left, she said she helped because he was clearly a rough sleeper.
