Spiralling out of control

No, not me, I am fine. I have my car back and I am working. Although, despite the weather, it is very quiet.
This is maybe a metaphor for the media in general.
But television in particular. There us an old Bruce Springsteen song called 57 Channels a d nothing on, but nowadays one still can come across the same situation, despite, especially with Sky, but thank goodness for "Anytime".
I am not one for just sitting all evening and watching whatever is on. I like to chose what I watch and record. I control my viewing.
I also don't see the need for having a television in every room.
But each to their own.
