View from the bed

Not mine!

Today I visited my mother who has been resident in a nursing home for the past year. She has just had her 94th birthday. This is the view from her bed where she spends most of the day at the moment. I drove 90 miles to see her this morning and she slept through the entire hour that I was with her.

The photograph of the handsome lad on the bottom shelf is of me aged about 14. Unfortunately she doesn't know who I am most of the time now. Very sad.

This is another emergency blip taken with my phone. However it does sum up what I have been doing today.
