Small is beautiful....

These tiny flowers are flowering on a Variegated Spirea given to me by a special friend. The detail in each individual flower is lovely. We had heavy rain overnight and the temperatures dropped dramatically with snow falling on a local mountain “The Ned”. Our niece, Deborah arrived from Christchurch this evening. It is so lovely to have her here and we have not stopped talking for hours. It is my birthday and I have had a memorable and happy day.
