A busy morning, first of all delivered a birthday present, then did our food shopping.  It is just beautiful today, and as we came home there were quite a few butterflies in the garden enjoying the last of the flowers.  

I followed some around and hoped to get a picture with multiple butterflies, but in the end was most pleased with this one of a Small Tortoiseshell butterfly, which posed beautifully for me.  Added an extra too

A walking friend has broken her ankle badly and has needed a plate put in place.  She tripped over her bag when booking for the Millport Ferry and ended up in hospital for 2 nights.  She is now home but has to stay off her ankle for at least eight weeks.  So we are heading up to see her this afternoon with a card and comforts.  We are under extra restrictions in our area and so it will be a socially distanced visit in the garden.
