Foreshore at Tignabruaich
This village on the Cowal peninsula, on the western arm of the Kyles of Bute has a very small population that swells with visitors in the summer, but it is never very busy. The rocks on the shore are evidence of the Ice Age when glaciers carved out the sea lochs in the west of Scotland.
