Hello Bud

I rescued this little beauty from my aborted attempts at cutting back our overgrown hedge last weekend, and I gave him/her lots of loving attention in the hope that she/he would bloom ready for today.
 
This was not to be, so I shot him/her as she/he is.  Ok, I did add the mirror . . .
 
I must confess to a lot of work in PS.  I used a Cree LED torch to illuminate;  something I have done possibly hundreds of times before with no real problem with white balance.  For reasons best known to the rose it wanted to be purple, even with large adjustments of the colour temperature etc.   I finished up with the rose in front of the pooter screen adjusting everything in sight to match the colour.
