More wood

An agricultural chat with our ex-neighbour and the fallen tree on the edge of our terraces is ours, the best of our chestnut trees is, of course, furthest from the house and the best time to cut trees to stop them regrowing is after a full moon. All useful stuff.
Either way, more wood was brought up to the house and chopped into smaller pieces (60cm is the size our new stove takes) and hidden away in the woodstore.
The olny relief was walking into Sableires to buy some vegetables off Angelique. With the temperature touching 30C, it wasn't that much relief.
The butterfly in the image was at the side of the road into Sablieres. The flower is heather giving you an idea of how small it is but even then it is not a Small Blue but a common one.
