Yellow

For the second day running the lesser yellowlegs was making a stopover at Slimbridge WWT and giving everyone it seems the run around. Twitter has been agog with hourly updates and sightings as it was very mobile and kept disappearing! Easy if you have wings to get quickly to new water but for me carrying the long lens and vitally a tripod, it took a little longer.

Viewable with a scope and bins from the Zeiss hide on New Top Piece I could  hardly see it without my camera. I'm hoping it will stay a while longer and come in a bit closer - when I'm actually there would be handy.

It is a  North American visitor so slightly off course.
