Quarantine day 4. - Home Comforts

Being stuck at home means that there’s much time for cooking, as well as cleaning. So after a few days of cleaning the oven and the fridge, defrosting the freezer etc, today was a day of cooking, so Mary to the rescue.

Made her Croque Monsieur, which, despite being a bit of a faff, was absolutely delicious. Her book has many comforting dishes, which are ideal as the nights draw in.

In other exciting news, an appointment has been booked fur the dental hygienist for the beginning of October. The dental practice has finally started hygiene appointments now, although, from reading the information, it’s all so very different from the old days.  Welcome news though since my last appointment in May (along with the dental check up) was of course cancelled.
