RUN OF THE MILL

There has been a Bradshaw Flour Mill in Driffield since. I posted an image of the Old Mill By The Stream here . . . but no sign of Nellie Dean.
EB Bradshaw and Sons was formed in the 1790s when miller William Bradshaw operated three windmills in Bedfordshire. In 1875, William's grandson, Eleazar B. Bradshaw, was appointed mill manager at Bell Mills in Driffield before purchasing the business from the owner in 1894. Their interesting Family History can be found here.
This newer mill is still by a stream. Hidden from view is a new plant behind, opened in 2019, that is totally automated. No need for social distancing in there. Stay safe all.
Hope you all have a grand weekend ahead !
