Doves in the Sun

I once had three doves for a couple of years. Now there are at least 16 coming to the feeder and cruising around the neighbourhood in the evening.
They are actually the most scary birds on the feeder. They use their wings in aggressive ways, even frightening the Blue Jays.
This little group of three here sunning themselves are two hens at the end being supervised by the one closest to the camera who is looking our way. His tan spot between the eyes is like his russet underparts. The girls are not so decorated.
Since I am not allowed to raise chickens in the village the many doves will have to do.
