Moonflower

Fellow blipper MaryElizaR sent me some moonflower seeds the beginning of summer. I planted them all, but only 1 plant grew, & while there are three flower pods growing, this is the only one that has opened so far. It was in the low 50’s last night, so that may not be encouraging to the other two buds, as I’m thinking they’re used to much warmer weather. I went out at 8 this morning to get a picture of it before the light hit it & caused it to close up—it was in the shade of the back of the house. it’s just a gorgeous white, & is about the size of my hand!
Tom’s getting his blood as I write this. I went shopping at Target & then walked a couple laps at the Emerald Preserve just to pass some time while it was infusing. I MAY have bought a few things for Mae & Noelia while I was shopping....hard to resist the impulse, so I don’t! Lol. Thanks to BikerBear for hosting FlowerFridays, & hope you all have a great weekend.
