Strange Beasts

Working tomorrow, so took today off. Z had a car recall thing in Cork so we drove up in two cars, also depositing J in his new student house share. Several fellow-students lounging about there in a Normal People kind of way. Stocked him up with shopping, then headed in to to see a mural I wanted to see and a marvellous show by Michael Quane in the Lavit Gallery  We thought it had opened already, but he was there himself still putting it up. It was great to get the chance to chat with him a little. Free carved from blocks of marble or Irish limestone, so strange and beautiful. Then some more wandering in the sun, a lovely day. Four more here.
