Matters of Life & Death

Came home from running a few errands this morning to find the road completely shut off and multiple emergency services on the scene. The single bike wheel tells you roughly what happened. The cyclist is in the ambulance and would shortly be whisked away in the helicopter. Hopefully she’ll survive but looking at the crash scene you have to wonder.
A couple of hours later and we were in Murnau at Wiggerl’s funeral. Held outdoors in front of the chapel and with a couple of Jimi Hendrix tracks as the memorial music - on the 50th anniversary of his death too, Wiggerl would definitely have approved.
