Solace Day 14 Getting Ready To Leave

I'd had a good night's sleep and got up early and saw the sun rising over the marina. We had to pack all our things and then clean the boat before heading home.

It was a lovely day for travelling and we had an uneventful journey home, just our usual stop for a cuppa at Charnock Richard.

Thank you for all your lovely comments and concerns while I've been away. Life on the narrowboat has been enjoyable but although they glide effortlessly through the water a lot of hard work is done by the crew. That's why I've had no time to put blips up on the same day or comment on yours. Data is also limited for that away from home.
