Flower Friday

At last, one of the buds on the Alstroemeria has finally opened! Think the warmth and sunshine we have seen recently helped it along.  Hardly slept at all last night - no idea why - then after son had gone to work this morning I dozed off again.  Didn’t look at the clock when I got up - washed my hair, put some washing in, made a coffee and then went to get my iPad for the Zoom choir session, only to realise that it was already halfway through!  So the highlight of the day a was a supermarket delivery - and this flower of course!  Local lockdown again, but at least we can still go walking even if we can’t sit in the cafe together afterwards!  It has put paid to a day out with a friend next Wednesday though, but hopefully it won’t be forever - fingers crossed!
