Finally Raining.....but not Perfect Air Yet

The rain came last night with Thunder and Lightning, so not perfect but oh so welcome. Air quality in our area is now rated "Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups"  but so much better than it has been lately. We are still being told to not open our windows. The rain has actually helped put out some of the fires which is great news. Some evacuated area are open now for residents to return to see if their homes are still standing.  Aircraft has been able to fly  so we have seen the aerial views of the devastation caused by the fires; wow, so much loss. But stories of miracles too.

Hearing of the kind loving people here in Oregon responding to those in need is a nice change, protests were called off; I hope it stays calm in Portland in the future.
