La Gazza Ladra

Also known as the Thieving Magpie - an opera written by Rossini. We are playing the overture at our next orchestra concert. Rossinin apparently wrote it in one day, which is probably why it goes so darn fast!

I put these seed balls out for the birds this morning. Should I feel annoyed that magpies came and scoffed the lot in 5 minutes?
