Clints Crags
While the Lake District didn't get as much snow today as many parts of the country, there was still enough to turn the ground white in most places. It did also make the photography challenging - Clints Crags is quite exposed, so the wind was chilling and blew the snow/sleet/hail/rain onto the lens of the camera - wiping the splotches away was the order of the day.
I managed to get a few good shots, but this is probably my favourite of the day. The crags slope one way, and the tree's been blown in the other direction. It's so stark standing there against the sky this time of year.
Called an early finish with the weather - all were getting cold and wet. So what do you do when cold and wet? Have ice cream in a tea-room on the way back :-)
