Mermaid’s Purse

We went to the seaside again today with Jane C to RSPB Mersehead. I enjoyed walking barefoot on the sand and paddling in the sea. We found this Mermaid’s Purse washed up on the beach.
Lots of great bird life , we saw whimbrels , oystercatchers and a solitary green sandpiper ( pictured in my additional photo)
