Worcester/Birmingham Canal

Had a good day with the Canal & River Trust Volunteer Group. We cut back these overgrown trees in this pond next to Lock 2 in Worcester and the branches are neatly stacked ready for the wildlife to take up residence. Well that is what the Trust wildlife warden tells us. The rain and snow got quite heavy but it didn't dampen our spirits.
Disappointed I didn't take a photo before we started because there was a lot of height and growth on those trees.
