A lovely day out....

Yesterday Rob and I went to the Forest of Dean to meet Jussiediva  for a tour of the area and a catch up. It was a really lovely day, sunny and fresh and the car park at Symonds Yat was the busiest on a Friday that Rob could remember it (Rob used to do a lot of Leadership project work in that area). Luckily it is a big area and everyone dispersed so we didn't feel unsafe or crowded. J took us to a the stained glass window in the forest at Speech House Walk (see extras) and then to Cannon ponds where we saw the swans in my blip and also I saw my first wild mandarin duck (extras) it was a real shock to me that they are shy and roost in the trees, I am so used to the Bourton ducks. All in all it was a fantastic day out.
