A Government Directive

A lovely day; we went to a buffalo farm in Northallerton which has an excellent farm shop, then into the town and Lewis and Cooper’s wonderful delicatessen. Who knows when we’ll be able to go there again, if lockdown returns? On the way home we stopped at the King’s Arms in Sandhutton; our instinct, on seeing an order from Boris, was to ignore it, but we were responsible and waited to be shown to our table. Amazing sandwiches for lunch.
