Welcome

This is far from being my best technical quality from the day's photographs (it was a quick grab shot as I spotted the opportunity), but I just loved the moment  as the guy welcomed his partner with a friendly squeeze.

We were expecting London to be fairly quiet - particularly the business and financial area of the city.  This was certainly the experience of people we had talked to who had been into London recently. However, today there were a lot of people about - none of them apparently respecting social distancing.  Maybe a sunny Saturday was enough to attract people into town, but it would make me more cautious about coming in again.  Perhaps a weekday would be better.

Nevertheless, a very enjoyable day, and lots of photographs.
